Great place for Italian delicacies and wine! I took my partner here to celebrate him earning a new position and the quality of the food and service definitely felt like a reward. The staff was incredibly friendly and warm—shoutout specifically to Rasheeda for taking care of our needs. We got bruschetta for appetizer and the braised rib pasta as our main course, followed by a tiramisu to share. Lovely restaurant and would love to come back with more company!

Took my friend here for a birthday dinner. From a welcoming front desk, hostess to servers. Great service overall. Food and dessert are delicious. We both agreed; We shall return! We highly recommend! One of the many great find in Stockton!

This was our first experience dining at Mezzo and it was an amazing place. I would first like to say thank you to our server, Rasheeda! Not only did she have great energy and a welcoming spirit but she was very knowledgeable in the menu (and ingredients) it was one thing I noticed right away and was impressed by. She provided excellent recommendations and she was able to accommodate my dessert needs 🤭 (whip cream and biscotti on the chocolate gelato, must try!!). The entire vibe was relaxing and enjoyable not to mention — peaceful. My 6 year old loved her pasta and dessert which speaks volumes coming from a picky child! My husband loved the ribeye and I would definitely return for the lamb chops. We both loved the selection of vegetables that we accompanied in our meals and a special shout out to the chef who prepared our meals tonight; they were certainly crafted with love and passion for their work. Thank you to the entire Mezzo team including our busser who was very kind and accommodating as well as the gentleman who assisted Rasheeda in boxing our dessert and bringing our food to our table. Coming from a person with years of restaurant experience, I admired how this team worked

Mezzo continues to prove why it’s one of the most refined dining experiences in Stockton. Tucked away in one of the city’s most beautiful neighborhoods, it has that “if you know, you know” feel — understated from the outside, exceptional once you walk in. On our most recent visit (my third), the restaurant was in the middle of preparing for a large catering event. Instead of feeling rushed or closed off, the team welcomed us warmly and even allowed us to step into the kitchen to see the operation in motion. Watching the staff plate dishes with precision and calm confidence spoke volumes about their professionalism and pride in their craft. Now, the food. The chicken sandwich is, in my opinion, the best in Stockton. Perfectly crisp chicken layered with garlic aioli, arugula, bacon, and cheddar on soft ciabatta — every element balanced, every bite intentional. The beef carpaccio was beautifully plated and incredibly clean in flavor. Thinly sliced beef topped with arugula, capers, shaved Reggiano, and quality olive oil — simple ingredients elevated through execution. The lobster gnocchi was unforgettable. Had a great experience at Mezzo! Despite it being a packed crowd on a Friday evening, our server, Hector, was attentive and fantastic. We started with the carpaccio for an appetizer, which was light and refreshing! I had the lasagna and my spouse had the frutti di mare, both no complaints. Finished off with dessert - the pistachio cannoli and an apple tart with gelato. Didn’t finish every course, but went home with delicious leftovers! Great spot for a quick drink if you’re thinking of skipping the meal too!
